Unit 13 - 3.1 Solve
practical and technical problems within a personal self-directed A&D
project.
With this being your final major project with the image
destined to be exhibited, the quality of your images needs to be exceptional.
In order to achieve this, the project will need to have been developed as a
practical and technical exercise over several shoots, looking to iron out any
possibility of any defects or mishaps.
Your work will need to have been produced in response to
research produced at the start of the unit. As part of the research you would
have had to explore how the work you’ve looked at in your research was
produced, analysing how issues such as quality, finish and production values
were addressed. This potentially would have left you with practical and
technical problems to address in your own work. These will need to be
identified and addressed showing that you have been able to solve practical and
technical problems.
Problems that you would expect to encounter and identify
might include…
·
Light
·

·
Composition
·

·
Organisation/Planning issues
·

·
Depth of field
·

All of which could have been discussed at the proposal
stage with contingency plans suggested and planned for.
