Unit 13 – 5.1 Demonstrate the application of practical methods and skills in the realisation of a personal self-directed A&D project.
This simply means you have to demonstrate that you’re skilled at using your equipment (Camera/Darkroom/lighting). Within your FMP, you should be using new skills, equipment, materials, techniques and processes to produce high quality final images. You should use the opportunity with these new approaches to describe, analyse and identify that you’re in control and skilled at these practical methods and skills.
This can be readily identified, described, analysed and
evaluated through the use of Gibbs reflections after any all work is produced
(Tests/trials/Finals). The product itself (Images) also goes towards
identifying the work that attains these assessment criteria.
