Interpret research activity to develop ideas and creative proposals.
This is simply asking for you to make sense of your research and ensure that you connect it to your own work. Again it is absolutely essential that the research is produced at the start of the project as it needs to be seen to drive the project forwards. Your ideas need to be clearly driven and connected to your research.
This needs to be seen to be done within your sketchbooks at the very early stages when you write about your ideas and propose what it is you're going to do in response to the brief and your research.
