Unit 12 - 1.1   Analyse the characteristics of the audience for a chosen A&D activity.

2015. For this, one of the tasks that you've been set is to look at Musto products and analyse who it is who buys their products.

To refresh your memory have a look again at the video that you should have looked at and analysed prior to shooting...

Using your blog make an entry and title it Unit12 - Reflection Musto audience.

Use the Gibbs prompts and write up your analysis of the Musto brand. Look at the video and deconstruct it, exploring who it is aimed at. Look at the location, the use of background, the mood, the models, the age group and speculate as to their socio-economic background. Look at Musto adverts (Stills) can you relate to these images, do they depict your lifestyle or someone else's?

Do a search on-line and look a the distribution of the retail outlets. Where are the Musto shops? What conclusions can you draw from the analysis and distribution of the shops? Are there Musto shops in the high streets we know, or Lakeside, Westfield or Blue Water?

Do you know anyone that wears Musto? Who, how many people, why? Do people know the Musto brand?

Through exploring these questions and analysing the brand and the shop distribution you will be able to draw some conclusions.
